Brain Dump – September 28th, 2024, 3:46 AM EST

Each month is a fresh start for me, and honestly, I don’t mind how many times I have to begin again. I’ll keep restarting until I get it right, because I’m committed to my growth.

One thing I’m grateful for is that I’m not stuck in my ways. I love to think I’m open-minded because that’s the only way to truly live. Life is full of endless lessons and opportunities, and if you’re rigid in your thinking, you're missing out. You’re not thriving—you’re just existing. And honestly, that sounds pretty miserable, like… what’s the point?

I firmly believe this new generation is moving in the right direction. I’m so glad many of us have more open minds, not shackled by outdated beliefs. How can we evolve if we don’t embrace change? Personally, I feel like I’m growing every day, and that’s how I want to live—constantly evolving, always learning. To do that, I have to stay open-minded.

What are some things you’re open to? For me, one thing I never close myself off from—don’t come for me—is self-care! There are so many ways to take care of yourself. For me, journaling, writing, even talking (whether it’s through voice notes or podcasts) has been a game changer. It’s all about getting those thoughts out. And if someone shares a new idea or technique that might make me feel better, trust that I’m listening and trying it.

Speaking of which, what’s one self-care habit you recommend that’s a bit unique? For me, I’d say chase your dreams, even in the smallest ways. It doesn’t have to be a huge leap—just the tiniest step towards something you’ve always wanted can bring so much peace. So many people don’t pursue their dreams for a million reasons, but let you be the reason that you go after yours. Even the smallest effort matters.

Okay, that’s all from me. Byeeeee!
